Melissa Lange established Account On Me Bookkeeping while working in a job she didn’t enjoy. It started off slow and was put on the back burner when she started working in a great job doing bookkeeping for a family that had a number of businesses in different industries. A new chapter began in 2006 when Melissa became a mother to her two beautiful kids, this is when the decision was made to keep doing what she loved and commenced her study to become a BAS Agent so that it would enable her to have flexibility in the hours she worked so that she could be there for her family.
With over 15 years experience as a bookkeeper, Melissa became a Registered BAS Agent, Certified Xero and Vend Advisor, MYOB and Shoeboxed Professional Partner. Valuable support and resources are provided from being a Pure Bookkeeping Licensee, member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers and Australian Bookkeepers Network, which keeps us informed of new developments and changes in the bookkeeping industry.
Our bookkeeping team are required to fulfill four standards – education, experience, testing and training:
- Minimum of Cert IV in Finance – Bookkeeping
- Minimum of 5 years experience
- Successfully completed the Pure Bookkeeping Skills Assessment
- Successfully completed the Pure Bookkeeping Training Module
